My remote will not communicate with the display

  1. Have you power cycled the display?
    • A power cycle is removing the entire unit from power. Removing individual parts from power when troubleshooting can create more issue.
  2. Have you checked battery in remote?
    • Battery- CR232
    • Remove carefully. Pieces can be broken when a screw driver or other tool is used.
  3. Is the antenna connected to display appropriately?
    • Antenna on display can become loose. An easy visual or hand inspection may be needed to determine a snug connection.
  4. Are you within specified distance without major obstruction?
  5. Make sure dip switches match for connection
